Internet adventurer with over 11 years of hands-on internet related experience designing and developing websites in CSS, Javascript/AJAX (jQuery, YUI), X/HTML(4/5), XML, Photoshop, Fireworks, Apache, MySQL, PHP, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and the occasional crumpled napkin.

As creative director of Optimum7, (an SEO company) I lead a small team of designers and developers build websites with a primary focus on page optimization, scalability, usability, search engine optimization (SEO), conversion optimization and effective information architecture.

Recently I was nominated by .net magazine for the brilliant newcomer award. Additionally Anthony has created several CSS3 / Javascript animations that continue to receive attention around the web. Most notably is MadManimation which plays a vital role in Andy Clarke’s “An Event Apart” conference talks for 2011. (See recent achievements below)

  • Directed and implemented design changes to improve conversions on client’s sales page that resulted in a 37% increase in conversions
  • Created several other experimental css3/jquery animations. They are jquery robot, css3 AT-AT, CSS3 Spiderman and I Twitty the Fool
  • Worked with .Net Magazine (.net) to implement CSS3 animation into their signup form. The animation is activated upon the successful registration of a user to netmagazine.com. The animation is a twitter bird that fly’s around and bumps into and interacts with different elements in the form (link to video)
  • Worked with Andy Clark on animating a graphic from his bestselling book “hardboiled Webdesign” (link to video)

  1. Creative Director, Optimum7

    • Design and technical lead on all web development related projects; i.e. websites, wordpress implementations, conversion optimizations and PPC landing pages.
    • Optimization for search engines through properly coded, W3C Validated HTML5 and CSS3, coordinated with in-house SEO’s for keyword research and selection, meta tagging, search engine submission, and position tracking.
